Yes I know who you are, hahha. That's cool that you have a job there in London aka Britian's Big Apple (: Yeah it is, finally you're doing business there. How much are they paying you? Hahaha. Just wondering, when are you gonna reopen your FB account? A few of your friends who added my asked me what happened to Nic-0's FB? You were a bad boy?? :O It's kinda hard to believe that you were like that before, skipping classes and all. Well, back to the main topic. I know your history, you scored straight A's for UPSR, PMR, SPM, you were a star back then, and I'm proud of you, I look up to you, you are my role model, a person I want to be in the future. Yes, I wasn't taking PMR that seriously before, well not anymore. I'm managing my time now, I'm going to tuitions more than I had before, I signed for BM tutioTuesday @ 5.30 - 7.00pm, Science and Maths @ 5.15 - 7.15/7.30, extra Maths tuition on weekends for 1hour30minutes. I'm trying to perform well in my academics and I;m doing good (: I'm doing myn every homeworks and passing them up on time, some of them :P I'm paying more attention to class more than last year cause' I was shifted to a new class with new friends, teachers, class etc. So I'm most probably the quiet boy in class. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, after relaxing, I start finishing my homework at night and revise my previous lessons I had in the morning before 10.00, cause my cerfue is @ 10.30pm. But know I can't go online that much cause mama took away the laptop ( OMG ) so it's kinda hard for me to release stress after a long day at school. But I will try to discuss with mama about letting me using the computer at 4.30 - 7.00. I will use your method in studying and I will discipline myself with it. I will try to control myself not to overdue my sweettime and start focusing on my studies. Thank you Abang for the advise.

My target this year is 7A's and above as you said, and since I'm taking 8 subjects anyways (: I've been asking some of my friends who got good results for PMR last year and their way of studying is almost the same. So I will follow that.

I guess you know who sent this email. Yes, it’s abang. I’m at work now in UBS office in London, UK, having my lunch at the desk. I’m waiting some information from the desk in Stamford, USA so that we can use that to do our accounts for the traders in Europe before the end of the day. Sounds cool right? Well, if I turn the clock back to 10 years ago, I was in your exact position right now. Go to school, slept in the class, ate my lunch at the canteen with my friends, laughed at the form 1 boy who tripped over at the stairs, played football during the recess and bought some junk food from the ice-cream man outside the gate. But do you know what the difference between us is? I got straight A’s for my PMR. Yes, I did. Despite all the nuisance and nonsense I’ve been involved with, I was among the best students in my school. How about you Syamil?

I found out that you’re not serious about the coming PMR in September this year. Do you know how important it is? Last time in KYS, whoever who scored less than 7As was expelled. PMR will be a benchmark for teachers to stream your classes in form 4 later. So if you don’t do well like your friends, you wont be in the same class with them next year. People are going to talk about your result when it comes out later, I’m sure you don’t want to be looked down by your peers and family members, worse, they might even compare you with me. What are you going to tell them if you don’t get good results?

I know study sucks. It takes away your leisure time i.e. your free time in which you can chat with your friends, play games or even go on Facebook. But think like this, wouldn’t it be way much cooler if you can do all that social things plus study at the same time. Then your friends will look up to you as an all rounder, trust me, I was the ‘star’ student because I did everything i.e. skip classes, sneak in computer rooms, play football in the dorm and scored straight A’s at the same time. How about that?

If it’s hard to do that, then you must learn how to manage your time well. When you come back from school around 4pm, give yourself a rest. Go shower, eat, go out and play, Facebook for a while, update your blog, play games or do whatever you want to do but STOP at 7pm. I’m sure 3 hours is long enough for you to do all those, besides these are the times when your friends are going to be free too. From 7pm-10pm, go and revise. Read back what you’ve learned in the class that day (because I’m sure you didn’t pay attention, I know, me too!, lol) and do the exercises. Do that in 2 hours, that’s sufficient enough. Then study for another hour, like do the extra exercises in the text book or practice books Mama bought for you. If you don’t understand, you can always ask Mama or just ask your teacher the next day. Then after 10pm you can get online again before you go to sleep. In other words, you will only need 3 hours out of your 24 hours that you have everyday to study. Is that too much to ask? No right, so just do it and I can guarantee you will score straight A’s like me.

PMR is in September, you have roughly 6months to study (excluding any holiday or weekend you have in between). Plan your study timetable. If you do what I say, you only need to study during weekdays and you can enjoy during weekends but you have to be consistent. Rotate your subject, do Math on Monday, then History, then Geography, up to you. Just make sure you cover everything before the Trial. If you do well in your PMR, I’ll give you an iPad!

Hello people, it's the first day of the new month, February 1 2010, no wait, I got confused, sorry guys, it's actually Sunday the 31 January 2010 and it's been okay. I missed out a lot of lessons during the first month, like about 2 weeks due to chickenpox -.- But I'm recovering and there's a lot of stuff that happened since I last update this dead blog. But I'll just start with Friday.

Friday 290110

We were suppose to have Chinese during the first period, but It was replaced due to an examination O: Vacation Reading exam, fuck -.- I didn't even finish the whole book, I just read the first 10 pages and I went on FB :P So I just hentam, make up words and shit, cause the story is obviously about family and friendship -.- Lessons went on as usual, English was really a bore, so I tried to fall asleep, but teacher kept on yelling and stuff. After school went to AC, on the way there I met Daniel, ex-sriklian, my old classmate, he's skinnier now, damn :P Chatted and stuff, teman him go buy Ramli burger then I left him to go find people in AC. Met Chow Onn, Chen Hui, Kee An and Seong Jun, but sat with Jie Sheng since I'm going to FTZ with him later on. I saw lots of my classmates, girls were something like next to our table and guys were sitting way farther from us. I wasn't invited cause I'm not use to being with them, new class and all, new students :S I miss rho man! Fark! So anyways, ate Roti Canai, I couldn't find Nasi Goreng anywhere, cause it's been a long time since I went to AC to eat. Jie Sheng belanja-ed me, rich bastard :P Then teman him go play pool upstairs, I left alone to FTZ. Bought a com, sat next to Kenneth Chan, watched them played SA while L4D2 was loading, they played good :O Next thing you know, com crashed, WTF -.- So I had to shift to a new com and what you know, L4D2 was gone! Ruined my day only -.- So just played the first L4D, still have the moves :P CS a while then played COD4 with Jie Sheng, epic match man. Then we had to leave, went to school, watched the cheerleaders dance, stoned, saw her... Then Jie Sheng's mom came to pick us up. Reached the gate to my neightbourhood, sawAri there, invited him to lepak at my house, was fun tho :D Then he left so yeah, that was my friday.

Saturday 300110

Cool number eh? :P Nothing muched happened, went to Plaza Masalam to buy stuff, I went to the phone shop to check on the 2nd hand W980, it was beautiful :') Sadly I can't get it yet till my birthday due to my cheap mom -.- So played a lil' L4D2 on Xbox360, they were crowding behind me watching me play :) I was like the man for L4D2 there :P Left for home, ate Subway then off to Wai Tong's house, played PS3, epic games we played, loads of laughters :D Then it rained till at night ): So I didn' t go home, slept over at WaiTong's house :D Late night SA ing, but internet was slow D: So went to sleep.
